How does this compare to a traditional agency?
A boutique naming agency charges $15,000–$75,000 for a naming engagement. They use methods similar to Brandflows — competitive research, territory mapping, phonetic analysis — but the work is bespoke and priced accordingly. The self-serve tier gives you the same methodology for $99. The concierge tier gives you a human expert at $4,999 — about 10–15× cheaper than a traditional agency engagement, with the same structured artifacts.
Frequently asked questions
What is a "run"?
A run is one complete brand project — from intake through positioning, naming strategy, name generation, brand synthesis, and visual identity. You get a full artifact chain: positioning doc, naming brief, scored candidate pool, shortlist, concept brand guides, and a final brand guide. One run covers one company or product naming project.
Can I buy more than one self-serve run?
Yes. You can purchase additional run credits from your dashboard at any time. Agencies and strategists who run multiple projects per month often buy in batches. Volume discounts are available — contact us if you're running five or more projects per year.
What's the difference between the AI-generated outputs and the concierge deliverables?
Self-serve outputs are AI-generated, structured documents — they're complete and usable, but they're not polished for client presentation. Concierge deliverables are reviewed, refined, and formatted by a human strategist for each gate. The brand guide is designed as a presentation-ready PDF, not a raw workflow output.
Does the $99 tier include trademark screening?
The self-serve tier includes automated trademark risk flagging — the system identifies names with potential conflicts in the USPTO database and similar marks. It does not include a formal legal trademark clearance opinion. For trademark clearance with legal confidence, you need the concierge tier, which includes coordination with a trademark attorney.
How long does a concierge project take?
Typically 4–6 weeks from signed SOW to final brand guide delivery. The gate-review structure means timeline is partly determined by how quickly you turn around approvals. Projects where clients approve gates within 48 hours consistently finish in under four weeks.
What if I start self-serve and want to upgrade to concierge?
You can upgrade at any point. If you've completed the Discovery phase self-serve, a concierge engagement can pick up from your existing positioning document — you don't start over. The per-project cost adjusts based on how much work has been done.
Is this a subscription or one-time payment?
The self-serve tier is a one-time credit purchase — you pay per run, not per month. There's no subscription. The free whitepaper is free forever, no credit card required. Concierge is a per-project engagement with a SOW.
What industries do you work with?
Brandflows is industry-agnostic at the self-serve tier — the workflow works for SaaS, consumer brands, professional services, food and beverage, and everything in between. The concierge tier includes category-specific competitive research and naming conventions audit, so industry context is incorporated into the strategy.
